At Digi-Fi, every product we sell is covered by a manufacturer-backed warranty, so you can shop with confidence.
Standard warranty
All products include a minimum 1-year carry-in warranty unless otherwise stated on the product page. Many items carry longer cover of 2 to 3 years, depending on the product and brand. The exact warranty period for each item is shown on its individual product page.
“Carry-in” means that if a fault develops, the product is returned to us (or the nearest designated service point) for assessment and repair or replacement under the manufacturer’s terms.
Exceptions
Some products carry different terms, which are always noted on the product page:
- Batteries – deep-cycle GEL batteries carry a 6-month warranty; lithium batteries carry a 24-month warranty.
- Selected enterprise and large-format products may carry an on-site warranty instead of carry-in.
- Consumables and in-box wear items (e.g. ink, toner, bundled cables) are not covered by the product warranty.
What the warranty covers
The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, in line with the manufacturer’s warranty terms.
What is not covered
- Accidental, physical, or liquid damage
- Damage from misuse, neglect, incorrect installation, or power surges
- Unauthorised repairs or modifications
- Normal wear and tear and consumable items
How to claim
- Contact our support team on 043 023 0178 or info@digi-fi.co.za with your order number and proof of purchase.
- Describe the fault – we may ask for photos or further detail.
- We’ll advise on returning the item for assessment.
- Once assessed, the item will be repaired or replaced under the applicable manufacturer’s warranty.
Your consumer rights
This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the South African Consumer Protection Act, which are not affected by this policy.
