This Privacy Policy explains how DIGI FI (Pty) Ltd ("Digi-Fi", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you visit or shop at www.digi-fi.co.za. What personal information we collect

• Identity & contact details – your name, email address and phone number.
• Delivery & billing details – your physical and postal address.
• Order & transaction information – products purchased, order value and order history. (We do not collect or store your card details – see Payments below.)
• Technical & usage data – IP address, browser and device type, and pages viewed, collected automatically via cookies and analytics.
• Marketing preferences – whether you have opted in to our emails.

How we collect it

Directly from you (when you create an account, place an order, complete a form or contact us) and automatically through cookies and analytics as you browse.

Why we process your information

• To process and deliver your orders, and manage payments and refunds.
• To manage ongoing service accounts and collect recurring monthly subscription payments.
• To communicate with you about your orders and provide customer support.
• To send marketing communications – only where you have opted in.
• To improve our website, products and service.
• To comply with our legal, accounting and tax obligations, and to keep our site and your data secure.

Payments

Card payments are processed securely by Payfast, a PCI-DSS compliant payment provider. Your card details are entered directly on Payfast's secure platform and are never seen, collected or stored by Digi-Fi.

If you have agreed a monthly service with us – such as internet or VOIP – you may choose to set up automatic monthly payment. Where you do, your card is stored securely by Payfast and the agreed amount is collected each month. The card details remain with Payfast and are never seen or stored by Digi-Fi. You may stop the arrangement at any time by contacting us, subject to the notice period in your service agreement.

Who we share your information with

We share personal information only as necessary, with trusted service providers ("operators") who help us run our business:

• Payfast – payment processing
• The Courier Guy – delivery of your orders
• Klaviyo – email communications (where you have opted in)
• Google (Google Analytics) – website analytics
• Our hosting provider – to operate the website

Each handles your information under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection terms. We do not sell your personal information.

Cross-border transfers

Some providers (e.g. Google and Klaviyo) may store or process data on servers outside South Africa. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is protected in a manner consistent with POPIA.

Cookies & analytics

Our website uses cookies to function properly, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use the site (via Google Analytics). You can manage your preferences through our cookie-consent banner, and analytics/marketing cookies are only set with your consent.

Direct marketing

We will only send you marketing emails if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting us at info@digi-fi.co.za.

How long we keep your information

We keep your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described above, including to meet legal, accounting and tax requirements.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information, including SSL encryption and secure, PCI-compliant payment processing. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; request correction or deletion; object to processing; withdraw your consent to marketing at any time; and lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator. Children

Our website and products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always appear on this page, with the effective date shown above.
